DirecTV alleges Florida defendants violated 47 U.S.C. § 605, 18 U.S.C. § 2511, and 28 U.S.C. § 2512 based on purchases of various devices, including: “Pirate Access Devices” from Reggie Scullion and Vcipher Technologies, including “3M PlasticFixes,” “DDT Cards,” “illegally modified DirecTV Access Cards,” “Lcards,” “programmers designed to illegally modify DirecTV Access Cards,” “V3+Stealths,” and “2nd Generation Cards.” DirecTV also 1) accuses defendants of fraudulent concealment of their involvement in pirating DirecTV, 2) unlawful conversion of DirecTV’s proprietary interests, and 3) violations of Fla. Stat. § 812.15 -- a statute covering theft of subscription television services.
