Defendant Castillo answers DirecTV’s complaint without the assistance of counsel. He denies DirecTV’s allegations and states that 1) he has subscribed to DirecTV for 10 years and continues to pay subscription fees, 2) he purchased a bootloader but threw it away “after serious thought,” 3) he is willing to pay $100 for the day he possessed the bootloader if possession is against the law and 4) he asks the court to spare his credit report and family from a judgment.
