DirecTV alleges defendants violated 47 U.S.C. § 605 by "designing, developing, manufacturing, assembling, modifying, importing, exporting, trafficking distributing, and sellint" devices, information, and technical support to assist others in pirating DirecTV. DirecTV also alleges 1) 17 U.S.C. § 1201 claims that defendants engaged in the business of manufacturing or supplying devices "primarily designed" for pirating DirecTV, 2) 18 U.S.C. § 2512 claim that defendants were in device business although they knew or had reason to know the devices were primarily useful for pirating DirecTV, 3) unjust enrichment, and 4) tortious interference with contractual relations and with prospective contractual relations.
