Defendant's counterclaims include 1) extortion in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 876, 2) conspiracy to extort in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 876, 3) violation of the Michigan Collection Practices Act, 4) racketeering in violation of RICO, 5) deceptive trade practices in violation of the Michigan Consumer Protection Act, 6) fraud and misrepresentation, and finally, 7) defamation.
